Part-Time Trail Crew Members – Camp Six

Camp Six is seeking hardworking, motivated individuals to join our Trail Crew team!

Trail Crew Members are responsible for maintaining and improving hiking trails throughout the Jefferson Community Trails system. Responsibilities include repairing trails, clearing vegetation, building drainage structures, and helping maintain safe and enjoyable outdoor spaces for the community. Crew Members should be comfortable working outdoors in all types of weather and represent Camp Six in a friendly and professional manner.

This is a part-time position offering approximately 20–30 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Trail Rehabilitation & Construction: Repair trail tread, build new trail sections, and install erosion-control features such as water bars and check dams.
• Vegetation Management: Clear brush, prune trees, and remove fallen branches or debris from trail corridors.
• Safety & Maintenance: Maintain clean and safe trails, install signage, and assist with invasive species removal.
• Tool Maintenance: Properly use, clean, and store hand and power tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to hike on uneven terrain and frequently lift or move 50+ pounds
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Experience with hand and power tools, or willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years or older

Physical Work Environment

This position is highly physical and performed outdoors. Duties regularly include hiking, kneeling, bending, lifting, carrying equipment, and working on rugged terrain in a variety of weather conditions.

Line Cook - Alice's

Alice's is seeking hardworking individuals to join their team!

Line Cook duties and responsibilities:

A Line Cook prepares food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.

Some of the key duties and responsibilities include:

• Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
• Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers, etc...
• Plating prepared foods based on senior chef’s guidance
• Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to requests and on time
• Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts
• Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations

Line Cook skills and qualifications:

• At least one year of cooking experience
• Excellent kitchen administration knowledge and ability to work as part of a team
• Strong organization and active listening skills
• The ability to work on your feet for 10-12 hours a day and lift 30 pounds at a time
• Exceptional time management skills
