This free community Halloween event brings local families together for an evening of costumes, decorated car trunks, plenty of candy, and lakeside fall fun.

What to Expect: Spooky Lakeside Fun

There’s something extra special about celebrating autumn by the water.

As the sun sets over Lake Hopatcong, the parking area at the Windlass will transform into a festive Halloween showcase. Children can show off their creative costumes while safely making their way from vehicle to vehicle collecting treats from creatively decorated trunks.

Whether your little ones arrive as ghosts, superheroes, witches, princesses, or favorite movie characters, everyone is welcome. Designed specifically with young kids and families in mind, this event offers a safe, lighthearted atmosphere with far more treats than tricks!
